7th Street Public Market vegan dinners are back for a new season, and they’re starting off with a bang! Join Viva Raw, Assorted Table Wine Shoppe, and featured chefs Julia Simon of Nourish and John Schaal of Schaal Foods, for a 4-course, hyper-locally-focused, vegan farm-to-table party at 7th Street Public Market on Thursday, April 16th from 6:30-8:30pm.
Situated where farm-to-table and vegan ideologies overlap, this dinner will explore what hyper-local, wellness-oriented vegan fare currently looks like in Charlotte, NC. All ingredients, fats and salts included, will be sourced within a 125-mile footprint radius from center city Charlotte. Chefs Schaal and Simon aim to prove that while restrictive, that geographic limit will help showcase how diverse and vegetable-forward our region has become. Expect fermentation, adventurous flavors and ingredients to rule the day.
Beverages are included in that footprint! Assorted Table will be serving up Free Range Brewing beer thanks to their locally-sourced hops + ingredients, as well as gorgeous pours from Dover Vineyards, our local winery! It’s going to be super rad.
